Park/Neutral switch

I'm attempting to access some of the Extender chip options which requires the P/N switch. Unfortunately, according to my scantool P/N is not engaged even when it obviously is. What do I need to look for to fix this problem? Is there a switch to look for or a wire loose somewhere?

Try turning the collar around the steering column between the key and the dash, counter clockwise I think, to be sure the switch is reading Park when you shift the trans to Park.
