Parts Diagram please!

you may need some to scan it in for you since its a little difficult to read on that site, I dont have my scanner hooked up or I'd scan it right in from the GM illustrated parts book
or try pick up a copy of "guide to buick 78-87, the GN facts and figures book "(american muscle car publications book by Steven L.Dove (1989) (still cant beleive he's not with us anymore) if they're any left available, got mine from ebay last fall . it has all the parts diagrams for all the turbo engines
or try this site it may have the parts diagram scanned in better http://buickman.r00td0wn.net/

The funny thing about the part diagram on gnttype is....
where is the a/c compressor?
where is the fasteners for the a/c compress?
where is the alternator and fastener?
and the rest of the engine, I don't see the block, cam/lifters, front cover ect. It's mainly all the easy parts everyone already knows.
Another thing too while I'm bitchhing up a storm here. That godddamm Haynes book is about as worthless as anything can get. I'll be sure to make that available when I run out of toilet paper.

part 2 shows the accessory bracket and tensioner install but even with the buick parts book you have to individually research all the accesories for mtg , which is why they always stress taking pictures , making notes and bagging and tagging everything on disassembly

Neat. It's nice to see all of that scanning I did helps some people out!
BTW Jason, on my site there you can download the entire 87 Factory Service Manual minus the crap that doesn't have to do with our cars.
And just as a side note, I am considering doing the chassis manual this winter....maybe

i searched through my illustrated parts manual and can find diagrams which have dimensions of fasteners for all but the PS ump

Well, seeing as how this was the manual Buick put together for their techs to use I would imagine it has the parts diagram and more. I don't have the time to flip through it right now. Maybe one of the other guys could do that? Or maybe you could go to a friend's house with hihg speed Internet and get them to download and burn for you?
