I think in parts for sale ads the buyer needs to reply to post first and then send a PM. That way other buyers are not waiting for a reply from seller when others are being sneaky and sending pm's.
I kind of understand your point (there's been times when I thought I had and item bought when really it had been sold prior by pm's ) but one think you should think of......Not everyone wants in plubic view what they are buying, me included.
here is a little comedy for this thread. had a local GN for sale up here. NICE car. Guy had it advertised with little interest. Local guys didn't even go and look at it . well they found out I bought it and man did they get pissy It was a DEAL !! after I got it home some were then trying to buy it from me people think because I "inquire" about parts or cars I am stealing them. bottom line cars and parts are worth what someone will pay in CASH for Oh the GN I bought I gave away before the wife got back from Florida. Melissa owns it now
I understand your opinions. It sucks when you wait three day after replying to a post that nobody else replied too and you find out that the part sold to a member that sent a Pm rather then a post. It make no sense to have a reply to post option when no one else uses it.
