Passanger side valve cover

Hey guys this is prolly a stupid question. I'm finally putting my engine back together and i was gonna put on some new valve covers. I notice on the passanger side there is very little room between the valvecover and and the downpipe. Is it possible to remove the valvecover without taking the downpipe off? Cause my dp is welded to my exhaust testpipe so that would be hell on earth!
I am not sure how much play the downpipe gives you when not connected to the turbo, so I just thought i'd ask.

it should give enough, there are only two bolts so why not give it a shot bro!

yah just unbolt the dp and use a jack to lift at the converter. that will give you enough room .
