I wasn't even close to max on anything... You'd think it was an electric car it ran soooo clean... I dunno. Maybe where I attached my cat it leaked a little more than a thought. ;)

The guys at the shop did drill the hell out of me. I dont know if they were trying to get info on "My" car but he seemed way to interested in GN's and the mods that are/could/have been/ soon to be etc....

I did get a wierd look when he looked at the adj regulator, but I shrugged at him like he was speaking chinese.

Weren't you the guy with all the car problems? I wonder who your mechanic is? That only goes to prove that your car is in good health.These cars don't like to pass unless everything is on the money.Let me know when you want that knee fixed also LOL

That's the beauty part about turbo's they can run clean, pass smog get good mileage & drive ability & still haul ass. Its all a matter of choosing the right parts & not deviating too far from the original concept.Huge turbo's, Big camshafts, Injectors, Convertors, Stand alone engine management, External waste gates, Aluminum heads etc. have their purpose at the track. But in the real world on the street,Most of it unnescesary & a waste of money. Common sense isn't always fun. But it works.

Well the only ass I'm hauling is my fat one.

14lbs with 10 degrees of false knock slows it down.......
More on that later

No the orignial was bad valve springs... those were fixed and the cam wiped 8 months later.

At least "we" all think that was so cause.

I have all the above listed parts and i still get around 14mpg with 83 pounders with the A/C running cold and run low numbers at the track. you just have to have the right set up. the car passed MD but i think Cali is a different story.

Didn't mean to sound offensive but should I assume that you also have a roll bar,Sholder harness, cut off switch & all the rest of the equipment to run that quick & may I complement the performance that you state. But from this description I would consider that to be a race car with A/C.The point I'm trying to make is if you pick the right pieces you don't have to go over board to have a fun street car. By that I mean something that will run in the 11's pass CA. smog still get 20 mpg .Out here in socialist CA our laws are much stricter we drive our cars greater distances & they have to be reliable run on 91 octane & be able to idle in traffic jams in 90 to 100 degree temps without over heating.

The battery is still in the stock location, i still use my spare tire and she has full interior (without me in it 3500lbs).. yes she has a cage, but with swing outs and a removeable cross bar for my freinds to ride in the back. the car wouldn't have a cage, but i was tired of the local tracks not letting me even run anymore. i totally understand where your coming from, if i had to do it again i wouldn't :p .. Also, thanks for the info on moving companys. i did find one on that site that i'm going to be using..
