Gary,

You can have a chip burned with no wastegate duty cycle. With no duty cycle you can unplug and remove your wastegate solenoid without getting a check engine light. This is what we did for guy's running external waste gates on stock ECM setups.

Thanks, Neal, I am going to try the 35 ohm resistor first and if that doesn't work then I will look into the chip.
