Thought I had this sorted last fall after removing the PCM and Powerlogger, cleaning everything, and reinstalling. There seems to be an intermittent connection with my computer setup. Idle, cruise, WOT, all the same. On the Scanmaster I'll see random knock numbers. BLM is mostly stable, but then jumps around. Random MAL codes come up and go away. If I tap on the panel the PCM is in it acts normal for a bit, but then will randomly start up at some point. I don't drive the car much, but it was fine May-June until I had a bunch of wheel spin with vibration and now it's back. With everything installed none of the boards, connectors, or cables appear to be stressed in a bad way.

Anybody know of a good way to secure all the connections together. Hot glue the PL board to the PCM board? Looking for ideas as the car runs great otherwise. Thanks!

Took the computer out of the car at work, wiggled the PL board, and reconnected everything. Just left the computer laying on the floorboard and it ran perfectly on the way home, so it has the be the PL board connection sitting vertical in the side panel for an extended period of time. I'll have to figure out how to make that even more secure/permanent.

The current style has a nylon post and nut that secure it. The older ones used 2-sided foam tape. On the older ones, fresh tape and extra tape can help.

Also look at the ECM holder and see what may be pressing on the PL.
