Has anyone put a new cam in the 3800 N/A or SC engine? How did it turn out? What kind of performance gains did you see? Did the new cam effect the computer? Was the camshaft hard to install?

It gives hella top end. Mike Dye was the first that I know of and have seen personally run in the 12's with no problem. It sounds bad ass too. I have one sitting in my truck; I'm just waiting to get the tranny fixed until I put it in (or do it at the same time). I wanna say it gave him upwards of 30 horse to the wheels.

With all the extra sh!t (gaskets, springs, reatainers, etc.) it should be around $800 (excluding price of the cam). I'm still debating on if I should get it or not.

EDIT: Not sure if it'll pass emission; only one way to find out!

Isn't the series I motor the same as a TR? If not, I have no idea where to get one.
