The Super T uses a V band clamp to secure the comp housing to the backing plate, as for performance gains, I don't believe with the 66 wheel you would see anything, especially if you already have the standard T4 comp housing with the 4" inlet, 2.5" outlet from Turbonetics.
We are putting the engine Jim bought from you in tomorrow, after we pull the other one out,He is on his way here with hte car now.
Call me to shoot the **** sometime
Ill pm you my numbers
I miss you too..... Will do. Wish I was helpin with the motor. I have to fix my own car tomorrow. I saw your turbo but 70 is as big as I can go...................You know the drill. Might be cool with a 76 on my street car.........
I did put a larger turbo on my car also, I went with a GTS 76, Still a small frame,But the e"s" wheel is 1/4 larger in diameter and the compressor housing is larger than my GT series.
I have no results as of yet except preliminary tuning showing i needed to add about 10-12% more fuel
I will probably take it to the dyno to tune it a bit,as using 3rd on the highway has become a bit of a time.Even with the 28X11.5s its all over the road at 60mph
Ask Jim rome took him for a ride a few weeks ago before the sand
