picked up some new wheels today. what do you guys think? since everyone does chrome rims i decided to try something different.

They look nice. What back space did you go with? I don't think your gonna get much traction with those tires.... IMO I would look for different lug nuts, black acorn style if possible

They are 17x9 with a 5 inch backspace. I got the tires for a good deal so I couldn't pass on the offer. I still have the weld racing wheels so I can always swap if I decide to hit the track. I ordered new lugs just had these laying around and wanted to put the wheels on already.

I figured 5" BS. They are really tucked under the car nice. Are you going to lower the car at all?

Sorry I just can't see them on this car. More of a jeep or truck rim to me, but as long as you like them. To each his own.

Those were the ones i looked at for this car but couldn't find any bigger than 15", weird, i know.

Look good but seeing they are only 17, I'd go 18". I like 'em, definitely different.

one of the companies that makes the actual NASCAR wheels- either Bart, Aero, or Bassett- sells 17" steel wheels that look just like the Cup car wheels, and they are cheap.. also, they are light and strong, but not technically DOT legal..

Just my opinion - i would go with a higher profile ( taller ) front and rear and just lower a hair so there's no interference. That would really give the car a NASCAR like Aggressive stance.

I've seen those rims on a GN before, there was a guy here local a few years ago with the same rims. Looks good.

well i got my front rims today and was going to buy a set of tires but a friend of mine has some really good used ones in his house. they are 215-45-17 which are to small but i decided to put them on for now so i can use the money for other stuff that the car needs.
