Picking up MAP sensor

Just to triple check BEFORE I do it. I have a anolog dash and a 3 bar sensor installed. I can pick up the signal from the ECM instead of running a wire back through the firewall and up to the MAP sensor on the fender correct?? I will be using the GREEN MAP wire in the pic below.

That is correct.

If you really want to be triple sure get a voltmeter and measure voltage at that wire. You should see 1.6 DC Key ON engine not running. Engine running it goes down to a volt.

My Buick kit is preset to activate at 2.2 volts. So when the green wire hits 2.2 vdc it starts to spray alky. :wink:
