Sound bite
I was half paying attention while Steve was running the Beast on the track, really did not even know it was his car running. The car sounded ok on the launch, then I heard the motor come apart. You could hear the metal hitting the pavement, I said to the guys I was hangin with "that does'nt sound good". So It does not take a rocket scientist to figure he blew his motor, as we walk up and see who's ride it is, I was in disbelief. I had hoped there was some salvagable parts out of the motor, but I guess the entire motor is done. The scary thing is my motor is in the shop getting built as I type, I hope the girdle and steel crank will help me avoid that scenario. Regardless, Steve did a hell of a job getting the Beast into the 9's, good job brother.
