Well looks like they work. Heres a little background on the car.

1985 Buick WH1 T-Type - All options except t-top or astroroof and remote trunk release. So yes it does have posi. Has stock engine, trans, turbo and rearend. Car is right under 136,000 miles. And it is a daily driver. And very reliable.

Upgrades include: pinion snubber, airbags, shift kit, 87 ecm, lt1 maf, translator, aluminum radiator, 160 degree thermostat, electric fan, adjustable wastegate, k&n filter, 87 coil, 10mm magnecore wires, bosh platinum plugs, boost gauge, fuel press. gauge, water temp gauge, oil press. guage, walpro 307, hotwired and rear seat braces.

Just a word of advice...Get the Bosch platinum plugs out of there...Put in some AC Delco CR43TS plugs or some have had real good luck with the NGK UR3 plugs(myself included)...There is something about platinum plugs that the turbo'd cars don't like(they spark tends to blow out at higher boost levels)...There has been a lot of talk over the years on the gnttype mailing list about platinum plugs...Run on over to www.gnttype.org and do a mailing list archive search on platinum plugs...There is A LOT of info there about them...

Otherwise, VERY NICE looking car...I always did like the 2 tone WH1 paint scheme...

Yeah I've heard that about the platinum plugs. And I'm definately changing over the next time I do a tuneup. But I feel safe for now. The car is now a daily driver. So besides the occasional stoplight to stoplight run. Or when I'm a doing a childish burnout, the car is driven pretty easy. I got my boost set at 14 psi. I know thats low, but it's safe. And it still gives me plenty of power. I'm currently building a new engine with a 109 block as the base. But I am staying hotair. That engine is getting alchy and is going to the track. That way if I blow an engine, it will be that one and not the original. I figure that with the low numbers that these cars were produced (except 87 25,000 plus), the rate at which they are getting parted out and the rate that engines get blown and replaced that an original, numbers matching tr is going to be worth a huge amout of money 20 years or so.

looks good, keep up the good work. I wish i could burn the tires like that but i guess that a stock stall and a ta54 turbo wont work that well.:D
