Yes, it's an off center intake. The intake is not ported. I was going to have Champion port it but at the time I was trying to get the engine together and I didn't want to prolong the process any longer than we had to.

So the Accufab polished 70 mm throttle body bolts right on to the Champion upper plenum correct? Very nice intake setup. Sure beats that old grimey looking stock setup don't it?

Not good pics and they do look good! but once on they sure are hard to keep clean...mine doesnt look that good anymore and it just makes me mad to see the black powdercoat one...I didnt even think to do that at the time and it looks great

I bought my intake from Jack Cotton. He sells both on and off center Champion intakes.

The intake in my photos earlier in this thread is an "on center". I got it through Kip at Excessive Acceleration.

Excuse my ignorance...what is the difference between on-center and off-center? Which one would I get for a stock 109 block?

The short answer is the "on center" is a stage 2 block that has .120" more stagger in the block to "center "the connecting rod in the piston.

Stock blocks are off center.

When does it make sense to have this intake ported? And the GN1 heads too for that matter...
