Pinion Spline Count

Hello everybody, new to the forum so if i am posting this in the wrong area I apologize. I was wondering if someone could tell me what the stock pinion spline count on a stock GN is? I have an opportunity to get a brand new ring and pinion for really cheap but don't want to spend even a little money for nothing. Thanks.

Hey! Will the ring and pinion (3.42) out of an 89 Suburban (rear carrier) work with the GN?

As long as it's a 28 spline 8.5 10 bolt!
