I think you have to be member of Chitown to view the forums - Ill pull out some quotes from people that were there - those Iowa episodes were all filmed the same day....

NO cars were lost. Most of the guys bought their cars back from eachother for 100$.

when we were down there for that show it sucked we spent the whole day and night at the track it was so fu--in cold but all and all it was a fun road trip for the weekend, the best part that they did show was when he said ( OK GUYS LETS MEET AT THE PINK SPOT) but they didnt show us all layin on the ground laughin r ass's off and callin him a fu--in tool, and trust me when i say it we all told him he sucks c--k

Yup, I was there for the filming too, it was the biggest POS thing ever. It ruined our whole track day (yes they decieded to film on a test and tune day). They had to film some of the races 5-6 times.

I am still looking for Dustin's original post about the whole ordeal and why he seemed like a whiner-boy on there. He may have deleted it (maybe the show agreement keeps you from talking about it?) If I find it, Ill post it....

They still 'lost' their cars on the show, which is my only point. If they buy them back later there's nothing the show can do about it. It's not a 'lose your car forever and ever and you can never buy it back' deal. In my mind the show therefore lives up to its billing.

I'd do the same thing: find out who I'm running and strike a deal to swap cars back for some sum of money no matter who wins. It would be great to have a GN or TR on the show.

The host still has to go. They need a real, gritty, hardcore street racer with a foul mouth to host it. This guy looks like an actor playing a tough guy role rather than an actual tough guy.

The show hasn't hit me enough to remember when its on. I just usually happen to catch it half way through.

The host doesn't bother me that much.

I'll watch it again just because its different, has drag racing and a lot of BS talk.

Whether you lose your car for good or not its got to be tough watching your ride being towed away by the other guy you were just talking sh!t too on National TV.
