Anyone thinking of registering for Milan Michigan Pinks all out race? I guess registration starts tomorrow at 4 Pm. The race is June 30th. It would be nice to see lots of other GN/TR owners busting everybody elses a$$ old school!!! I'm still waiting on my new GN1's from Champion. I guess I'd better get it in gear! Sure hope my crappy trans hold's up.

I just did some work to my GN and am hoping for low 11's this summer. With that said, I am still to slow to compete in that event but it would be cool to see a bunch of turbo Regals out there.

Rich is an ass but his comment was correct in the last Pinks All Out. When they put up the GN rich responded with "ahh, a GN, crowd pleaser right there".

this show is turning from fun to garbage fast, he who can lie the best wins, i would like to see balls out racing, to much lifting and sand bagging now!, drivers who play the game should be sent packing, ive only seen it happen 1 time with a women,Rich sent her ass home!
just my .02
Tom

The actual show may be turning into garbage but Pinks All Out is all different. they just race for cash, nobody loses a car so it brings some real racers out with some nice cars.

Also, it's not so much who's the fastest overall; the group (10.5 sec, 11.5 sec, etc) that is the best matched, and will make the best show is what's selected.

So, your mid-11 sec ride, since it prpbably represents the biggest group that would participate, has a good chance of making the cut.

Hell, just go and have fun embarrassing a few V-8s......

Well, I did it. I sat in front of the computor at the till 4 sharp and made it in! I guess all 350 spots were taken in 15 min!! I have 2 other buddies with GN's who tried and were unsuccessfull. I guess a little timming and a whole lot of luck!! Anyways, this car has run a best of 11.20 with the old combo so I only have a loop. I'm thinking with my new engine and turbo it should go mid 10's easy on a good tune. I'm looking to have a bar put in, and I can get a fire suit from our uniform company. What else should I be doing to pass tech and be safe in a mid to low 10sec GN? Thanks in advance, no sandbagging or tree jumping for this little ole V6, just good clean V8 a$$ busting!!!! Dave

Congrats!

Make sure that the engine bay is as stock looking as possible; non-chrome stuff, maybe even a little gross and dirty...put food coloring in the alky tank, rubber hose over the braided line, and keep 10% in reserve.....make it stealthy....and yes, it's all about the sandbagging. What they don't know will cause them to see much taillight....

Damn 15 min! I better wait for to see if Norwalk is going to have one:D Car just got done to with champion irons ,45a and a host of other goodies.

We are ready to go, got it set up with the new AMS 1000 boost controller to run some high 8's or lower if necessary.

Your better off backing the car down to 9.50's----they will never have enough cars in the eights to make a field.
So far, just about every pinks all out has fallen between 9.5 - high 10's.

This isnt a sandbagging show, Pinks is. If you run faster than your 3 run avg, you are out, win or lose. This isnt an event where sandbagging helps in the least. You can beat a guy by a fender, run .001 faster than your avg prior to the top 16 and lose because you break out. Its happened.

Does anyone know if this is still open for spectators to show up or not? We'd love to come and cheer on the the Buicks that made it. Tried but no luck.
