Placement of the windshield banner?

Is there a specific place that it should be applied or just directly centered...and how far down from the top or even with the DOT "arrows"??

i marked my old one before i removed it. the new was from phonix was close but not exactly the same.

i can measure down the windsheild on mine for you if no on else posts up... but i've never seen an alignment tool (like for the fender emblems) for the windshield decal... so they may all be slightly off from each other depending on who installed them.

I don't think there's a template so placement is judged by the installer.

The placement of mine is centered side to side and 1 3/8" measured from the lower edge of the moulding to the top center edge of the decal.

That's how the dealer did mine in 1989 and it looks nice.
