For my 1987 gn, I just ordered the 15x8 rebuilt gm rims from gbody parts.
The car will also be lowered with a new set of Eibach springs (1 in drop?)

So my question is...
can I put some
235/60/R15 in the front and 275/60/R15 in the rear for my new set up?

Some people have put a 275-60-15 tire on a 15x7" rim, but your better off using a 15x8" rim such as yours, no problem.

That setup would definitely work on a car with stock suspension and I don't think a 1" drop will really cause a problem either, should be fine.

Most tires don't rub, but some will rub slightly, I guess it depends on the brand tire your using and how the car was centered on the frame from the factory.
