Is there any advantages to going with the precision plenum and powerplate.I was thinking 65mm plenum and a throttle body upgrade from jay jackson would help down the road with future mods thanks John. Has anyone had better ets with the 65mm plenum and tb upgrade

not at your level of performance.....deep into the 10's, you can spend some money on a "better" plenum....waste of $$ any time before

a 65 or 70 mm plenum & TB can cost you $500 or more.....

I use a PTE plenum (stock to 65 MM) because it's 5/8" taller than OEM, and helps my 3" I/C tubing (CAS V-2) clear my 3.5" MAF duct (Tomka).

Jay's TB is an OEM unit bored out to 62 MM. 65 MM and larger TBs are aftermarket.

I don't use a power plate (it's a Missouri thing)...

Will a larger plenum and TB help performance. Well, Red Armstrong doesn't think so - LOL! I think his argument goes something like - you've got 25 PSI pushing air through it, so why should it be as big as a N/A Mustang's?

:)
