Has anyone every successfully ever polished just the ribs on a set of T wheels. I liked to leave the center section a natural cast look & have the ribs highly polished. I even though about a light coat of cast blast paint over the natural area. Tip, tricks & procedures welcome on how to just polish the ribs & nothing more. I’m having a tough time keeping a polisher on just them.

I've seen pics of it done on one of the sites but I don't remember which one! do a search and see if you come up with anything. It did look really good though!

Did the search & found a few pics. Looked like those that have tried it, had the same problem I'm having....can't stay on just the rib with the polisher.

I've done it. It's not hard just time consuming. Beadblast the wheels to remove clear coat, brake dust and general road grime.

Using a narrow wheel or cone buff on a air grinder Start buffing with tripoli, when you get it polished out move on the white rouge for a mirror finish. The cone buffs are easier to keep on the ribs.

Use brake cleaner to remove the black polishing sludge from the rough cast portions.

Topcoat with a claer like eastwood diamond clear.
