pop, pop, pop, shift?

Ok so I took the TTA out for a drive today and whenever I go WOT it pops a couple time and then shifts. I have a cutout and had it open and I didn't really have any problems. What's causing it to do this?

Probably something basic. When my 87 T LTD popped, it was bad spark plug wires.

Any scan tool readings? How much boost?

Yeah everything looks good on the scan tool. O2s about 800mV 22-23psi with 110 leaded. Plug wires should be good since I just put new Taylor wires on like 4 months ago. I took my plugs out the other day and cleaned them, they only had like 7k miles on them and they were covered in carbon. I think I'm running a little rich. I'll check all the wires to make sure they're getting good contact and everything.
