What is your actual battery voltage? That will make a difference.

What do you get if you push the tps lever to wot with your finger?

Loosen both tps screws and pull the sensor toward the front of the car. Then to get the base setting rock the top of it back. Check wot again. That should help.

Generally anything over 3.00 will do the job but you may want to check with Eric. That can vary depending on the chip. I don't think this is causing your problem. Not unless the signal is completely dropping out.

To obtain best WOT value, loosen both screws just enough so the tps can be moved. Slide it all the way forward as far as it will go. Tighten both screws. What's the WOT value?? Is the idle value even close?? If the idle value needs to be tweaked loosen the bottom screw just a little, and loosen the top screw enough that the "Nose" of the tps can be tilted up or down with slight taps up or down. tap it up or down to get the idle value correct, tighten both.

actual batt voltage 13.2 @ WOT, as far as setting tps I did as described but I will double check to see and I will have to drive car and post a video w/audio to really show whats going on, it is very odd I have searched this site and found stuff similar but not exactly the same problem, but in the mean time found a fuel leak at copper tee on fuel rail have to remove and replace valve in schrader valve no valve core tool gonna wait til tommoro and get back at it after work.

never had my before and after pics posted

This is what I started with in april,2006 and/after june,2008 thats why problem is really bothering me with all the hard work already done, Thanks for all and any help[/ATTACH]

Thanks alot It has come loooong way and now I have this hang up on the poppin, backfire and CE light flickering thing has me fustrated and my spatre time for the next week is gone so I will have at it then might sound crazy but I might just pull the whole engine harness ECM to batt, etc and fish thru and exam all the wiring for a short, broken, wire or something that can help answer my problem

My suspicions tell me you have some type of after market coil and module on the car. Thats may explain why it will not run in batch fire. Is this possible?

^yes

same thing happened when i had a bad coil pack..as soon as i got into boost it did the same thing, put a working coil in and all was well again

i do think coil is BWD brand but ign module not sure but keep in mind I swapped my ign mod/coil on my buddy's Tr and it worked fine on his but his setup on mine same symptoms swapped back his ok back on his car so Im not thinking thats problem and also check engine light flickers as car breaks up.

I never have had any luck with any parts other than ac delco. Other stuff always ends up with some type of drive ability issue.

I agree but its just that ac or aftermarket both worked ok on my buddy's TR but both had same issue on my car thats the only reason I am thinking its something electrical maybe.
