poping @17-21 psi

With the boost adjusted as low as 17 psi I get a poping sound. I just finished installing autolite 23s gap 34. it almost sounds like its coming from the turbo? thanks

wires..coil pack& module..cam sensor 180* out!!...ground wires all good?...MAF working properly?..try going to a "tite" .032 on the plug gap...and if going up on the boost...go down on the plug gap...hope this helps joe

Check for cracks on the headers too, 21 psi is too high for street gas too with your 44 .

try a max of 15 lbs boost and see what happens

Mine pops too but it aint getting knock.I think its a crossover leak.It especially pops when running alky.I have to run the alky at the lowest speed setting at 24 # to keep it from drowning out the spark and it may be too much alky still.I know that my cam sensor is set right and my coilpack and module are good so your problem might be something else also?does it seem like its rev limiting?Does it sound like detonation in your exhaust?

Forgot to add my smc kit to my sig. Just started to pop when I added the te44. no detonation though. seems to run pretty good . beat a 2000 SS the other night. might try to tighten the gap alittle.
