possible converter problems?

I bought an Orange Stripe Converter and had it put on about 4 months back. The past few weeks my transmission is shifting at high rpm's than normally and its acting like it cant find its gear. The car stutters between 2nd and 3rd. All these problems started when the converter was put on.......Please give me some feedback!
