What is the problem if it's not the motor or the mast? Maybe you can unplug it from the engine compartment and hook up the power to the picture attachment and see if it operates directly.
I'm not sure. The motor works but won't pull mast all the way down or push all the way up. Nylon cable isn't broken and I did the recommended repair even though it wasn't needed with no improvement.

It seems the only thing is the mast itself is bend and preventing from moving either direction, or something is stuck in the antenna gears.
You might have to take it apart and examine internally to find you the problem.
Remove the nylon cable from where it wraps itself around the housing gear, then see if the mast slide up or down with the cable still attached to the antenna mast.
