My question is in 2 parts. There is a "power injection" in the dashboard.
1) Does anyone know what was the power injection for?

2) Is there a way to "hook" the power injection light to turn on when "nitrous or Alcohol" is activated.

thanks

?

I beleive Buick tossed around the idea of water or some kind of injection. This is why the Power Inj. is in the dash. I just recently hooked mine to my alky sym. I saw post earlier that all we had to do was put a bulb in. In my 85 car, not only was there no bulb, there was no circuit on the board once the bulb was put in. I soldered a wire to each side of the bulb holder, in other words I had to make a circuit, run one wire to ground, the other to what ever you want Good Luck

Lee I would like to do the same thing you did.
How long did it take to get the light hooked up?

It seems like it would be tough to get behind there to get the bulb in. I dont have time to get stuck in an all day project

it appears that SOME 84 tr's came with the power injection light prewired.on my car(and a few others)there is a green wire with a black connector under the wiper motor that will light up the power injection light in the dash.

later,sean

Does anyone know if the 86's had the bulb in? Does this wire exist on all of our cars?
