Power Logger + LC-1 Lambda Cable

So for this spring I am going to invest in the Power Logger and an LC-1 Lambda Cable. My question is, is this what I need LC-1 Cable to work with my power logger and get proper A/F readings? How exactly does this work? I believe there is a connection in the power logger where I would connect the LC1 cable and run it to the bung hole I have in my exhaust manifold correct? And then I can run my scanmaster thru the power logger? Do I need a cable for that or does the scanmaster just plug into the powerlogger and run from that? Do I have the right hardware here? Do I need to update my scanmaster and how exactly do I do that? Thanks.
