This has been covered so many times its not worth recapping it. The basic answer is: Yes

I did back to back runs with and w/o the plate, I noticed knock w/o the plate on pump gas and none with it in. Great item...also I see you are in Arkansas, there's not many of us, where are you located? I should have my GN back in 3 weeks or so breathing fire ;)

Even though your first idea is this thing is a major restriction,Its not, suppling fuel air mixture evenly to all cylinders.YES it works.Has been proven to work as well.Ask anyone using one.

Ive got a regular 1/2" spacer on mine and noticed something weird. The #6 cylinder running really lean, but #5 looks like all the others.
Has anyone run the power plate with the spacer? Im not trying to pull some power trick. Its just that with my intake tube, the IAC solenoid would hit the intake tube if I didnt have that spacer. It already hits, but barely. I know they make an angled adapter for the IAC, but if i dont need it, I dont want it.

that is why we run the precision plenums, they hold the TB 3/4" higher.

if you must run the power plate with a spacer be sure to put the power plate next to the plenum and the spacer below. this is where the spacer will do the least amount of disruption.

heres the horses mouth, if i polish my stock intake runners and all will your power plate still be effective or will the properties be changed and not sure about results.

Thats what I figured. Whats the point in increasing plenum volume above the plate....although I guess testing has shown it doesnt do much anyway...power plate or no power plate. I'd buy the plenum, but I need to spend my money in other places.... It still needs ALOT of work. A million fluid leaks, a bad radiator, a screwed up tranny and TC, totally shot suspension, front and rear, bondo cracking open everywhere, shot weatherstripping, shot steering column/steering wheel, a stock rear end I paid a mint for that became peg legged before I could even start flooring it, surface rust all over the front clip, tweaked headlight frame, power antenna took a dive....and this is after fixing 75% of the problems. Thanks.
