Power steering fluid cap.

Is there supposed to be a gasket or seal on P.S. reservoir cap? Mine leaks around the cap during hard acceleration

Mine does not have one, not sure if it should or not..how full is it too where it leaks?

It is filled to normal level and it leaks from the cap. The seal is just plastic to plastic so I will make a gasket and see if it helps.

Mine is not cracked.it just comes threw the threads.an down the sides
