Power steering leak

Hit 14psi the other day going to work, first time the car has seen that much in 8 years, been sitting quite a while.
Noticed it was leaking power steering fluid, the resivoir cap was wet, down the side of the resivoir, inner fender, etc. Any ideas on what would cause this? Not real familiar with the inner workings of the ps system.

Nope everything is stock, almost 11k miles on the car.

Subscribed, same problem just arose on mine.

The original reservoir was recalled. The nipple facing down hindered the flow of fluid.
