I have a brand new one I got from the dealer, but it is the one with the plastic tanks. I believe u wont find a new one from the dealer with the aluminum tanks those were original on the trucks and when needed replacing the dealer was using plastic tanks. What Raymond is refering to about the aluminum is the modification of the outlet and inlet openings on the intercooler, specificly relocating them face down so u can run the pipes under the core support like a traditional front mount. As far as year and motor I believe ur lookin for 99-04 powerstrokes(6.0). Im pretty sure I wont be using mine at this point so if U cant find one let me know. Mine is still in the Ford packaging collecting dust.
I have one that I need to get rid of. It wont fit my hybrid nova I'm building. The inlet outlet are the same width as the front tubing and wont fit. It has the aluminum takes and is used but not damaged or fins bent up. I would sell it for what i paid 150 plus shipping. Or email me we can work out something.
I got one off an 06 harley 250 & it is alot bigger than the old ones.I can run 22 psi on pump gas. There is noting wrong w/ plastic end caps. That 6.0 powerstroke was running over 40 psi w/ no problem.I love mine
good luck
