I just bought a T type, one of the knobs on the driver side power window switch is broken. Does any one know how to pull these things out? i started to unclip the panneling on the door and felt up there, it seems as if it should unclip out w/o having to remove the panneling. I also got kinda stuck on pulling out the pannel, does the pull strap have some fasteners hidden underneith it? thanks for the help.

Take the two screws out of the top inside part of the door rest. Slide the door rest forward to remove. Unscrew the chrome plastic pull up door lock at the top of the door. Pry off the caps to the door straps and unscrew the two phillips screws. Then unscrew the two bigger phillips screws behind where the door arm rest was. Carefully pry the door panels away from the door. A door panel removal tool is recommended. The top section has to lift up and go forward to clear the top of the door and the door release. Look behind the door panel and with a thin flat screwdriver carefully pry up the blue cap holding the harness to the switch and then do the same to the harness itself. You can figure out how to changout the switch from there. Not too difficult. ;)

thanks a lot okboo. I thought that there was something behind the door strap but didn't want to do any additional prying.
