I dont know for sure..I have never used anything else..still the stock slow ones here..I have a friend that has deals in corvettes & monte carloSS's & he tells me that the ones in the corvettes will work in the SS monte also..the corvettes are in the same year ranges like 78-87 I think..I had an 81 vette & they did look the same & I know for sure they work alot faster & stronger than the ones in my buick...Maybe someone else will know for sure..then you could just go to local auto parts store & pick the fast ones up..the ones on ebay doesnt sound like a bad price but I dont know if they would be any faster than what you have now..
