Powerlogger install problem

When does the USB driver installation get installed and which file is it? Does it just start when you put the disk in? I haven't been asked to choose which windows version I have. The PL screen says that I'm NOT connected. Help, thanks.

Check your device manager to see what port the powerlogger is being assigned. Then go into powerlogger in the F3 screen and set the port to match.
