Hey all, I'm new to the TurboBuick site, but have seen a lot of other people dealing with the same stuff as me. I've got a dead PowerMaster motor and am having a hell of a time finding a new one...or a used one....or a rebuilt one. Anybody have any leads to finding one at a reasonable price? Already replaced the pressure switch and accumulator myself and the motor's just had it, which I'm not surprised at since it's the original motor. Thanks!!!

There is a fuse in the fuse block, it should be a 30 amp. If the electric motor ran longer for 30 seconds it will blow the fuse. This happens when the switch did not signal the pressure correctly. The fuse is there so you won't burn up the electric pump motor. Hope this helps.

The fuse is good, I went through the whole blown fuse garbage about 20 times thanks to a bad switch. Put a new switch in and the brake light comes on but the motor's not doing anything. The motor used to run almost constantly which is why I'm assuming the motor is just shot. The motor's the only brake component I haven't replaced yet, so I figure throwing in a new motor will get me up and running.....and stopping! I was gonna do the whole vacuum brake conversion and take the brake system out of my '80 Cutlass, but the Cutlass is in such nice shape and I don't wanna butcher it.

There is a guy on here that deals with these brakes, his name is hank terry but i don't know his sn name here. Might want to do a search.

His sn name is turbocars and sells the electric pump new for 150.00
