After a week of tests and other assorted cruelties: it has been confirmed that I have stage 1 (bitter irony) Hodgkins' disease. The good news is the survival rate is upwards of 90-95%. The bad news: Treatment costs money and I will be out of work for an extended period of time so the car has to go.
