TR has been sitting with battery disconnect for over year and half. Will drain fuel, oil, coolant and change fuel & oil filters. Add fresh gas, oil, and coolant
What's the safest way to start engine after sitting for so long? I'ver read to remove spark plugs and add WD40 or Marvel Mystery Oil into cylinders and crank engine with spark plugs out several times to prime cylinders with oil.
Any advice, Thanks in advance

Make sure you have a really good battery. I think you have it all covered.

your exactly right....just pull cam sensor and spin the oil pump to pre lube the engine with oil.....need a oil pump primer to do so...buy one or make one.....hth....vinny

If it was running before and hasnt been sitting outside exposed to the elements, i would probably change the fuel filter and oil, pull the plugs and disconnect ECM wire. Disconnect the Feed line from the turbo and put a cup underneath it. Crank the motor over about one second at a time until oil came out of the feed line (to make sure oils flowing). Once that happened, reconnect the feed line, install plugs, connect the ECM wire, and fire it up.

I'd start the car, let it warm up and then change the oil. After that I'd drive it.

Just start it and let it idle. It will be fine. There is an oil film on all the bearing surfaces. Then do what Earl said.

Thanks guys
Funny I tried to syphon old gas out but nothing came out. Gauge reads 1/4 tank. So add 2 gallons of fresh gas and 1/2 bottle of Sea Foam. Drain bad coolant and added distill water. Let it idle for 20 minutes. Little water in the exhaust, white smoke from I believe oil on crossover pipe, but idled smooth. Waited for smoke to cleared and radiator topped off, went for a needed wash.
Then came the fun part, slow cruise around the neighbor hood.
