Why are the new "boosted" dual BB series turbos listed as less HP than the comparable conventional bearing regular series GTQ? Any thoughts? Are the conventional series turbos better at $1000 less?

It is because the "ball-bearing" option only affects spool up and not ultimate power.

The GTQ wheels flow more than the "boosted" wheels - they do cost more.

Depending on your engine combo/converter - a ball-bearing turbo may or may not be necessary.
