Preload adjust

Just wondering. Is there any way to set preload on the lifters if you have a stock setup? I know you can buy adjustable pushrods or convert to roller rockers.

If all is stock, the stock push rods should provide the proper pre-load. If something has caused a need for a change, you must measure and then order the correct PR's. If it is very close, I have read about using shims on the shaft mounts but that does not seem like the best way to do it
