Im going to get my car painted in the spring.

What do I do about my trunk RPO sticker and door stickers ?

I assumer these normally are destroyed when getting a car painted. is there any good way to remove them or mask them off when getting painted ?

The trunk rpo peels off. Take your time and it should come off easily. Hopefully you have a 86-87 because I`m not sure about the rest.

When I had my car done I didn't get them to respray under the trunk lid, it still looked very good. I did replace both doors though and I cut out the metal that had the stickers on them until I can find somebody who will reproduce them.

Anyone looking for reproduction stickers....here's where I got mine. Below is a picture of the original's compared to the new ones.

Very nice! They do nice work...I had mine down by them... What did they charge for them ? I got different quotes each time I called! I paid 60.00 each

Ya, it was about $125 for those two stickers. They are near identical to the originals and THAT was worth the price. They don't have a SPID label yet to make one for the trunk. The asked me to send a VERY high quality scan of the original because they will be making them for the first time. Sounds kinda odd but I've not done it yet.
