Last time I went to VP in Fort Lauderdale (about a month ago) it was $7.75 a gallon for C16.......
Uh, you need to do some more research there fella!Originally posted by Vader 87
yeah i already looked at that Louie...IMO C16 is the best out there
Prolly depends on local competition. I have to pay $8.25/gallon for a 54 gallon drum of C16.I found another local dealer of VP fuels....interesting to note that his stuff is still 7.75$ a gallon![]()

I get alot of detonation with C16 that I dont get with 114oct in other brands. You just need to try different stuff and see what your car likes better, imo.

I'm not saying its bad, its just not right for my car. I've ran 30psi of boost 28° of timing with a TE44 and no detonation with Phillips 114 (B33).

I recently changed my combo and currently have a T66 with ported heads and a 214/210 roller cam. Once I get it tuned right for the 114, I'll try C16 and see what happens.
