printer ink

anyone buy off brand ink for their printer and did it perform as good as the name brand? Just bought a HP C5180 and HP ink ain't cheap.

I've always had good luck with Staples.com

You can try to get away with some of the refill kits for awhile. The print heads do wear out over time , forcing cartridge replacement. At least you didn't buy a Dell or Lexmark printer. There is no way to purchase after market ink or toner for those.

My printers at home are brother, very cheap lasers that only cost around $50 for 8500 mono pages printed. I was given one that has an extra 500 sheet tray and duplex on it. An all-in-one like yours is next on my list.

I've tried off brands and havn't had much luck with it....something was always a little off......good luck
