Hey Guys,
Can someone help me on this issue? I have a new computer for my 87 new calpak, new 93 octane chip. Cleaned the IAC Valve and O2 Sensor, and cleaned my air filter. Car runs a idle between 1500 and 1800 RPM I have turned the idle air screw all the way off and moved the TPS sensor around and still high rpms? Disconnected the Mass Air Flow sensor and started the car right up rev it up and it pukes out but even with the mass air flow plugged in still pukes out like it is either not getting enough fuel or too much air? But has a very rich smell to it? New fuel filter and fuel regulator (stock regulator). How do I check to see if the Mass Air Flow Sensor is operating correctly? Basically been trying to figure this out for months and am getting pretty tired of spending money on parts that don't fix the problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again jretrodude
