Production vs Stage Lifters??

Howdy,

Any difference between a lifter for a stage motor and a lifter for a production block?

Also, anyone got a 4.1 off center block that can clean up to 3.995" bore?

I have a virgin Stage I 3.8L if you're interested. If not, no problem and no answer necesary.

I'm looking for one that can accept my custom pistons I had made for the big bore motor, so I need one that will bore to 3.995. I'm not sure how much you can bore a 3.8 Stage 1 but going .195 over doesn't seem like it would be a good idea.

You are correct. To my knowlege, +.060 is pretty much the safe limit on Stg.I 3.8 . Good luck w/project. James
