I recently installed my nitrous and propane BTR kit, this kit was purchased from a local Viper owner who had it on his GTS for a couple of years.

My car is a 1999 GTS with Roe Blower, 8#, SVS headers, 3" Borla, no cats, Roe Meth injection. We are maxing out my fuel pump and injectors at 602RWHP and 658RWTQ, hence the reason for doing the propane / nitrous.

I installed my N20/Propane system this weekend, the system is hooked up just like any NOS wet kit now, and it triggers off of a micro switch, the only difference is I have a line running from my propane tank to the fuel solenoid instead of pulling fuel from the fuel system.

A few questions:

What size jets are some of you running that are using nitrous / propane only? I'm not using BTR's additional gasoline injection, I've read most are using a 52 nitrous and a 40 fuel, but I've also read a 52 nitrous and a 30 fuel so there is quite a big difference on the propane side.

What pressure do you keep your propane bottles at? MIN and MAX? right now my pressure is at 132PSI on a partially used bottle.

Does anyone regulate their propane pressure? I was thinking about getting a regualtor and keeping it at 90psi or so, how about a heater does anyone use a heater on the propane bottle to keep the pressure high?

You may need to find another board to get your answer here..the majority of folks here run alcohol/water injection. You may get an answer, but not 20 answers...

I don't use a heater on my propane tank. Since the tank pressure will between 100 and 150+ psi depending on the outside temp (I'm in CA), I use the regulator furnished with my propane kit, to maintain 70-80 psi line pressure.
There were five jets furnished with my kit, marked 70, 76, 81, 86 and 98 I think. Not sure what those numbers mean, but these look like nitrous jets, if that is any help. Anyway, I am using the largest jet, at about 60 % duty cycle, coming on at about 7-8 psi of boost (the OGS Pro-pain kit I am using has a solenoid off the tank, and a controller in the car).
Here is a link to the kit, for more information: http://www.onlygoodstuff.com/product.asp?intProdID=51
Hope this helps,

Nitrous requires fuel. You need to supply the correct amount of fuel if not the motor will lean out and bad things will happen. The amount of bottle pressure will dictate how much flow you will have. Hence the use of a regulator.

My suggestion is tune the car a little fat and work your way up on the nozzle propane jetting to get the same AFR with or without nitrous. Too much propane the AFR will go down.. and vice versa.

I dont have data sheets as to what specific jet flows what propane vs PSI.
