I've been reading about P/Vs on Thirdgen.org (Since I'm installing a TTA rear in the Iroc) and it seems they do a mod to get more pressure to the rear brakes. You pull the plug out of the front of the Proportioning valve and replace it with an allen head plug size 5/8" - 18, 1/2" long (at least this is the size on the 3rd gens, figured it's the same on the TR). It would seem like this would be an easier and much cheaper way to hold boost on the line. Anybody hear of it or try it? I know that if you pull the plug, spring and plunger out of the P/V and replace it with the allen head plug, you have to bleed the rears.

Eric,
I believe and dont quote me on this, the plug is used only after the valve is gutted out. I know cause i tried to do so with mine and couldnt find the correct plug to seal it back up. I ended up taking it off and using Brass Ts to replace it. This along with a manual prop valve has helped my boost holding considerably and improved braking greatly.

Right, you pull the plunger and the spring out. Over on thirdgen.org I guess people were having problems finding the correct plug, so they were tapping the stock plug and putting a screw in it. So it helped out?
