Prostars from my LT1 on the GN?

I have a set of Weld Prostars 15x8, 5.5" backspacing, with 275/50/15 Mickey ET radials. I tried to put them on the GN, but they sat in too far to work. If I got a 1" spacer and used my old mag wheel lugs would that work, or would I still need longer studs?

I wouldn't run a 1" spacer without longer studs. There will not be enough thread with that big of a spacer and that much torque. I would only run a .25" spacer max with stock studs.Your best bet would be longer studs so you don't lose a wheel and damage your ride or more importantly.... damage yourself.

cool, thanks for the input. i would much rather just buy longer studs or even a different set of wheels than self destruct my car (or run into a wall)...:biggrin:
