Me and my gn have this love/hate thing going. My gn should have been a parts car but I am trying to save it on small issue at a time.
I noticed that it would run 200+deg sitting in traffic and it was bothering me. So I started digging into it. The low speed fan was not coming on.
So I check to see if the relay has power. Yep has power. Yep the relay sense line has power. No ground.
The car has a kenne bell switch panel in the ash tray. Figure out which wires go to the panel. Hooked up right and now show continuity to the ground.
Yay
No fan. So the relay is bad. I buy one on the way home from work and no fan
Wtf!!
Ohm out the ground wire and it ohm at 67ohms.
The switch had high enough resistance in it to cause the relay to not click over. Out of the 6 switches one ohm at .02.
I know long winded.
I was proud that I did not have to come to this wonderful site and ask what was going on.
This site has a wealth of great info and great people that don't know these TR very well.
Thanks to everybody on here
