GT4788 in both journal bearing or dual bb, or the GT5191 in either bearing configuration to me would be a hot ticket for an LQ4.
It really comes down to how much room you have to work with and how much power you are trying to make to the tires, as well as how much boost your motor will handle?
If you've got plenty of room to spare, (as going from a PT88TSE turbo with the 3-bolt turbine housing to a GT4788 or GT5591 will require alot more room on the turbine housing side when you upgrade) then you would only need to upgrade your downpipe. But if room is critical, then the regular PT88 with Precision's T4 style .96 A/R housing is pretty much it. Turbonetics does offer some of their thumper series turbos with T4 style inlet flanges, but the dimensions would drastically change from what you have now as well. The other issue you might run into is availability. I would recommend you give a call to Precision and see if they have any PT88 T4 style turbine housings left.
